I have owned Road bikes for a number of years from Apollo TDF to Carrera Virtuoso to Giant OCR 3 to Raleigh Vittiesse
And now to my New Beast Specialized Allez 2013 i do a lot of Local rides with local cycling club we go places around leicestershire i found the bike to be very Stable and able to get up to speed fairly quickly it has a Aggressive position
(which i really disliked at 1st lol) i am able to maintain 18 mph and keep up to much better spec bikes in the group (but that is mainly thanks to its awesome frame Geometry its lightweight for a Aluminum frame groupset aint the greatest well worth upgrading which i am doing soon but for a 1st time rider it will do
it has Shimano 2300 throughout DT Swiss wheels
I bought this bike in May 2013 to get fit but I've now got totally hooked on cycling, I've learned subsequently that the gears were very basic but they were perfect for the first year, the brakes have never been very good either but I've only just upgraded my groupset to shimano 105 and realised not only how rubbish my gears were but especially how rubbish my brakes were.
Putting the new groupset plus new wheels have really made it an excellent bike and I wish I had done it sooner.
